The Sound for Good record label has partnered with the Trees for the Future to offer the new release, " Slant," by William Spivey and Zreen Toyz. Please read the literature in the download. Optionally, your donation of any amount to help support the Trees for the Future project would be greatly appreciated in helping us make a difference in the world by planting more trees with music.
Slant is a new album by electronic media artists William Spivey and Zreen Toyz. These seasoned sound makers have come together to produce seven tracks bristling with sharp electro beats, intelligent rhythms and expansive sound planes.
William Spivey of Flagstaff, Arizona turned to sound design composing ambient electronic sound-scapes after playing drums for 20 years. Zreen Toyz, French artist JLHB (born in 1954) likes to think of himself as a Sculptor of Sounds.
Since 1989, Trees for the Future has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and our country programs, we have empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations. More information can be found at www.plant-trees.org
