about

Sound for Good records have partnered with Trees for the Future to offer the new release "Dawns of War" by Peter DiPhillips and Jack Hertz. Optionally, your donation of any amount to help support the Trees for the Future project would be greatly appreciated in helping us make a difference in the world by planting more trees with music.

"Dawns of War" is three part suite of long form ambient works that contemplate the climates of war. The collaboration by Peter DiPhillips and Jack Hertz incorporate drones, sound effects, orchestration and noise to explore the many complex emotions such as anger, defiance, victory, loss, and sorrow that effect the human condition.

Since 1989, Trees for the Future has been helping communities around the world plant trees. Through seed distribution, agroforestry training, and our country programs, we have empowered rural groups to restore tree cover to their lands. Planting trees protects the environment and helps to preserve traditional livelihoods and cultures for generations. More information can be found at www.www.plant-trees.org
